Petition seeking dissolution of marriage on decree by mutual consent
In the District Court at ......
The petitioner prays as follows:
1.
Solemnization of a marriage between the parties as per Hindu rites and ceremonies on ..... at ..... A certified copy of the relevant matter from the Hindu Marriage Register/An affidavit, duly attested is filed alongwith.
2.
The status and place of residence of the parties to the marriage prior the marriage, while filing the petition were as follows:

(i) Prior to marriage
(ii) While filing the petition
(Whether a party is religiously a Hindu by religion or not is a part of his or her status).
3.
In this paragraph mention the place where the parties to the marriage last stayed and the names of the children, if any, of the marriage alongwith their sex, dates of birth or ages.
4.
That the parties to the petition have been living in separation and have not been able to live together by any means.
5.
That the parties to the petition have already mutually agreed that their marriage should be dissolved and nullified.
6.
That the mutual consent has not been enforced, fraud or undue influence is not evident.
7.
That the petition is not presented in state of collusion.
8.
That there is no other legally valid ground as to why relief should not be granted.
9.
The petitioner submit that this Court has proper jurisdiction to entertain this petition.
10.
The petitioners, therefore respectfully pray that the marriage between the parties may be declared as dissolved by a decree of divorce.
