Designing of the revenue stamps ??

I have come to know that with the passage of a certain period--the Authorities change the designing of stamp papers.

Do the Authorities do similar thing with revenue stamps also,I mean to say that is it right that with the passage of a certain time period the authorities change the designing of the revenue stamps?

If yes, after what time this is done?

After the scam of Telagi printing of stamp papers are stopped, but you can see the stamp papers are available with changed design. It is in accordance with the state policy.Now it is E stamping system is introduced.

There is no illegality in redesigning the design. because the redesigning will not invalidate the previous designs.

The question was not about stamp papers---it was about revenue stamps---

whether designs of revenue stamps are changed as designs of stamp papers were changed

or

not?

The design of rrevenue stamp can be changed, but same is yet to be changed by Govt.

at present there is no change but whenever authorities feel so they may change it.

yes, it is redesigned after some period. you can confirm this fact from the revenue stamps issued in previous years or from Government Printing Press Nasik.

Thnx Sirs ,I conclude that design of revenue stamps are changed with due course of time by Govt.,Hope I am not wrong.
