Delivery of possession on the basis of final decree

Suit for partition decreed. final decree was also passed. The portion allotted to me is in possession of a tenant. Now i have been advised file execution petition to take physical possession of the property which allotted to me. what is the procedure. how do i get possession from the tenant.
plz advice me with some citations or provisions of law.

You would have to file for execution of the decree. No other choice.
