CPC, 1908 Order 20 Rule 1

1) As per CPC, 1908 Order 20 Rule 1 what do u mean by open court .

2) What do u mean by every affidavit shall be drawn up in the first person. (Meaning of the line if written under the every starting line of the affidavit).

3)meaning of pecuniary limits as per section 6 of the civil procedure code, 1908 & what does it says.

Open court means not in the Chamber of Judge,but when Judge is on dias and conducts judicial proceedings.First person means that it should start saying that I............,the person who declares the facts on affidavit, which facts are of his personal knowledge. Pecuniary limits is that which the court has powers to decide the suit of limited pecuniary jurisdiction.i.e. JD has power to conduct the suit upto limit of two lacs(this could vary from State to State), SD has unlimited pecuniary jurisdiction.
