Thank u Sir,

Section 40(2) of ANDHRA PRADESH COURT FEES AND SUITS VALUATION ACT, 1956 says

In a suit for recovery of immovable property from a tenant including a tenant holding over, fee shall be computed on the premium, if any, and on the rent payable for the year next before the date of presenting the plaint.

I could not understand it, will u plz explain it?
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 21 October 2015
From the contents of the provision it is clear that you have to pay the court fee for the rents to be received prior to the date of filing the suit.
