is it binding on pvt. ltd. co. to declare holiday on the day of municipal corporation election?
(especially when declared by district collector.)

if yes what is the remedy to the employee for breach by co.?

Sir,
A pvt.ltd company is not bound to declare holiday for muncipal corp. elections.. even if dist.collector declared holiday..
I don't think these holidays can be compensated by pvt ltd.company..
