Cancellation of patta reg

Sir
I would like to clarify some doubt regarding Cancellation of Patta issued to some one while UDR
i.e. My Grandfather had purchased a land to the extent of 30 Cents in 1975 Further Patta & Chitta everything in his name till 1984 ( before UDR) .While UDR implementation one of my relatives had manipulated the revenue records with the aid of revenue authorities and got Patta in his name However I have valid title deed & Patta , A Register Copy issued before UDR .
Now that culprit has been enjoying the land for more than 15 Years . Whether can I succeed the case if file case against him ?
or Should I approach the revenue authorities to cancel the patta issued illegally ?
Someone told as since he has been enjoying more than 12 years he may take an advantage of adverse possession. That is why some confusion . So you are requested to guide me .

It was purchased by our grandfather and subsequently he never raised any objection when the patta of the property was transferred to a third party. The patta and possession of the property is with the third party hence he can very well claim title by perfecting law of adverse possession.
Neither your grandfather nor your parent have objected to this so far, then in what manner you can claim any rights over the property

The reason is Patta available in my grand father's name & A -Register also shows that even after UDR and till my grand father live there was no issues.Once he passed away in 1997 gradually my father's sibling tried to arrange the details of property and he never known as the concerned Survey number belongs to us because his ignorance. Further they are illiterate and very soft people , So the opponent managed the revenue authorities and also arranged some goondas against my father and his siblings .
But now I am ready to face anything .However I have to do everything through legal way only That is why now I have been taken everything from the beginning and start my action legally .
To succeed in my legal fight, here I have raised my concern Since so many experts are here & Your guidance will always be helpful.
My question is whether the law will permit me if I will do the same thing what the opponent has done ? . Since Now I can keep him silent for another 12 years and take possession of the property and manage the Revenue Authorities also .
