Transfer of Property

Hello All,

A property was held in my grandmother's name. She had 5 legal heirs (4 Daughters & 1 Son). But property was in the name of grandmother and 4 daughters. After grandmothers demise my father inherits 1/5th of 20% owned by my grandmother and daughters own 20%+1/5 of mother's share. Now all the daughters want to tranfer there share to son/brother. Please suggest if it can be achieved through relinquishment deed or gift deed and how much stamp duty would be charged in this case and if there would be any other charge.

Visiting rights to see the child at the school

Since 3 and half years after my wife estranged me (as I was earning less), me and my parents have been visiting and talking to my daughter at her school once in 15 days.

Usually we meet her after the last hour and before she gets into the bus for about 15-20 mins. All these days the school used to allow us, but now my wife has complained and asked the principal not to allow us.
The reason given is that we have been giving chocolates after eating which my daughters health has been upset and we meet my daughter only to extract information out of her. Both of which are not true.

After this letter given by my wife the school has asked us not to come to see my daughter and if at all we want to see the daughter we should produce ID cards which is given to my wife.

As we are not in talking terms, Iam not able to obtain the ID and when I sent request through a relative, my wife has rejected to give me one.

Please advice me what the law says in this situation and what should I do to continue seeing my daughter at the school.

Tenancy

Mr A was leaving in Kolkata as tenant and died intestate behind leaving his heir and successor. After the death of said deceased Mr B (heir and successor) approached to the owner of said residential room to change the tenancy in his name. The owner demanding Rs. Ten Lakh for transfer the tenancy right infavour of Mr B. Mr B contact several time but the meeting is fruitless and in this process the time passed near about three years. The tenancy room is till now under the occupation of Mr B.
My question is -----Can Mr B deposit due rent in the Rent Control on behalf of the said deceased or directly by his name? Or how he save his right of tenancy of that room?

Service tax on reimbursement of rent

Hi All,

One of my client has used a place for rent to shoot a serial for a channel. Rent is paid along with service tax from my client. Channel has reimbursed only the rent part. Since, my client has bonafide paid the service tax, has claimed input on those rent expenses. Now, the department is of view that:
01. My client cannot claim input on rent paid by him.
02. All reimbursement of expenses incurred on behalf of channel, later reimbursed by channel are to offered for service tax.
03. Even special / promotional episodes are also treated as income, where my client has made a expenditure on behalf of channel and later got reimbursed.

Whether the point of view of department is correct? Can this be litigated? All these expenses are prior to March 2015.
