Respected sir
I had issued a PDC cheque of rs. 30,000/- to MR. X. Before the cheque came into force I paid him the amount and demanded cheque back and informed the bank to s stop the payment of the cheque. he told me that the cheque is kept at home I asked him to give me a note of cancellation. he and his friend who is gave hand written note of cancellation.
Now he has filed a criminal suit against me u/s 138.
Does stop-payment of the cheque is a criminal offence?

If husband can prove the 498a is false then what panishment for wife & her relatives ?
can husband can make police complaint against wife & her relatives who are filled 498a?
can husband get compensation for false 498a?

can anybody give some decions or judgements of supreme court of India in connection to retrospective effect of domestic violence act of 2005.how can be the said act has retrospective effect when act itself is silent on it?

PPF maturity of deceased father's HUF having been handed over to one of the coparceners without others' consent by a Nationalised Bank, has since been allowed to be misappropriated by another Nationalised Bank where the self-styled Karta manipulated to open and operate Bank Accounts in the name of our father's HUF. Though required to obtain the mandatory Form F303 as declaration from all coparceners with their signatures/identity, the erring Bank has conveniently overlooked their Bank's own norms and allowed withdrawal of lakhs of Rupees worth of Deposits to only one of the coparceners. How and Who could be proceeded against for such misappropriation of HUF funds?

personal loan
I had a personal loan from icici bank and i repayed it for 25 months and the loan tenure was for 36 months and i had big problems in the month of 2009 where i lost my job and dint had job for almost 1 year and where i could not repay and there arwe ph calls coming stated that there is warrant been issued and i am worried now but i want to repay it back but i need atleast 3 months time. so please advise on default of personal loan will they arrest me fo the same and what can i do about this?
