dear sir,
the wife of a brother with whom i am fighting a case for posession of property on which he has tresspassed has threatened me twice by writing letters to me that she has been advised that she should lodge a woman harassment case.
she has warned me that she intends to do so if i continue harassment against her.
the truth is that i have never seen her for over twenty years and not written a single letter against her to any person.
i am however fighting a case against her husband and my younger brother.
please let me know under what sections these violations of law are convered and in practice, how serious are these offenses.?

IPC which deal with False information,evidence to law office
IS this case between state and respondent or peitiner vs Respondent.
For eg, 498a is case between state and husband. does similar anlogy apply in IPC invoked for false statement and evidence given.

Section 182. False information, with intent to cause public servant to use his lawful power to the injury of another person
Filing for false come this under category... Since false FIR can cause mental injury and effect the person peace of mind.
How to file complaint under this section.

If any person commits suicide, whoever abets the commission of such suicide, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
Does 306 apply only when person commit suicide, what happen if he is mentally harassed to point of sucide. What effect that have in above case.

What is blackmail.
Is it limited forcing someone to shell out money. Or it can be extended to forcing someone to agreeing to divorce without just cause
Under what section IPC is blackmail covered.

"Whoever threatens another with any injury to his person, reputation or property, or to the person or reputation of any one in whom that person is interested, with intent to cause alarm to that person, or to cause that person to do any act which he is not legally bound to do, or to omit to do any act which that person is legally entitled to do, as the means of avoiding the execution of such threat, commits criminal intimidation."
506. Punishment for criminal intimidation
By filing false FIR under 498a wife and her family threatens and injured husband and family reputation. Can he intitate above IPC against wife and his family when 498a is still going.
What is juristication of such case, city where husband is staying or city where his wife is staying and filed a false FIR.

False case submitted against husband and family file under 498a.
Chargesheet yet to be filed even after 3 months. Husband has already lost more than 1 lac on and travel and need to provide 3000000 surety for bail. Plus loss in pay day.
Can he start civil sudit for civil suit for malicious prosecution and claim compenstation for Cost at same time as case going on.

Dear learned lawyers, last year I was mugged by 3 guys. When they realized my identity, maybe out of fear, they went to a lawyer and as one of them was from ST group they drafted an FIR saying I had entered their house and harassed their women folks (needless to say - all lies). The police were forced to take the FIR. As I normally don't stay in Orissa they had named my brother in laws in the FIR. They were smart enough (sic) to name just 2 names at a time and my brother in laws would run for anticipatory bail. This circus is going on for the last year. Now I have been sent a scanned copy of PR Bond (u/s 107). So my question is whether the Atrocities Act can torment a person/s indefinitely? I don't have time to take them on in court and prove them wrong and punished. Should I sign and return the PR Bond? Waiting for reply/ies. Thanks in advance.
