Senior expired suddenly - cross examination of IO cancelled - remedy

In a criminal case of my client, there are 18 witnesses. Out of these 18 witnesses nobody came to court to give evidence. Even the complainant did not come to court. Only the IO who is the 18th witness, came to court and gave evidence. During chief examination, IO exhibited around 25 documents ie, the statements of witnesses, letters from technical persons, etc. The same were marked as exhibits. As my senior used to represent the case and he suddenly expired, I was present on that day when IO was chief examined. I prayed for some time to prepare for cross examination. But the IO did not accept and the magistrate entered in court record that cross-examination of IO is marked as NIL.

Sir, Is it possible for me cross examine the IO now?

I also want to make objections to the records that he exhibited.

Help on malicious ground on 498A & 34

In my case 498A is on malicious ground because I appled IPC 406 & 34 on her and her parents becuse she is not ready to give me my valuavle article. Then i applied for private complaint under sec 200crp. When she and her parents got Jamanti warrant on IPC 406 then she applied for the 498A case on me and my parents. So I need urgently required citation in which 498A case is done on malicious ground. Please treat as urgent because it is in last stage i.e. final argument

benefit of arrest of husband under 498a.

Hi

What is benefit of arrest of husband in a 498a case, when wife is living away from him for several month.

Why do polices and lawyer insist on that, any statement made by husband under arrest would not be admissible in court of law.

So what again prosecution and police or wife again with arrest of husband and family when he does not have any scope of interacting with wife or her family. If he try to then he wud do more harm to himself than good.

I am trying to under objective of law in this case.

DV case- Death by negligence is culpable homicide..

My wife left me, taking away our young, sick daughter who had a congenital kidney condition. She then filed false,DV ad divorce cases against me to extort large sums of money.
I was enied access to the chid, and her medical condition deteriorated. An urgent kidney transplant was the only recommended option given by medical experts. I offered to finance this and have it done, but was turned down by my wife. The operation was never done.

My daughter has now passed away. I believe this is criminal negligence, resulting in culpable homicide.I'd like to press chages agint my wife on these ground. Pl advise..
