we are public Ltd co doing business in publishing. one Mr. X was agent and he use to collect advertisement for us. One XYZ propriotory firm used to place adds and Mr. X used to get all the cheques from them.
Now, that XYZ propriotary firm has outstanding amt with us. we issued legal notice to them and found that there is no such firm in that address. Meanwhile Mr.X agent left our company. When we contacted Mr.X to ascertain whereabout of XYZ propriotory but he is avoiding.
we feel that Mr.X himself use to get the adds by showing fake imaginary propriotory letter head styled as XYZ firm. Now my question is how to ascertain this fact that Mr.X was cheating us? and how to recover the amount and from whom should we recover? How to ascertain the name and address of the person whos cheques were issued while transacting with us? The bank officials have not given us details of the person whos cheques they were belong to...
I have filed application under RIT and got reply from Karnataka Bank that they have not covered under the act.

Would like to know if through an RTI act can one get the Delivery position data from SEBI for a company in which i am an investor as i belive a lot of manupalation going on and SEBI being a governing body does the act apply to it.

We are a Pvt Ltd Company in Navi Mumbai and due to get payment from a company in Kolkotta. They are neither committing nor responding even after repeated reminders and personal visits.
Kindly inform what cation can be done against this company and who can help us out in this regard.

i am going to setup a small bpo of 10 seater only.
I reqd. all the necessary details regarding legal formalities like procedure, registration, documents reqd., etc. to star-up a bpo.
And if i grow my bpo business in future (from 10 seater to more) then what legal formalities will reqd.
If anyone is having knowledge about this please provide me the reqd. details.

Hi,
I have resigned as a director from a pvt ltd company and also sold my shares to another director in the same company.
Does MoUs signed during my tenure as a director and shareholder still valid or has become null and void as far as I am concerned after my resignation.

A desires B,who owes him rs.100,to send him a note for rs.100 by post.the debt is discharged as soon as B puts in to the post a letter containing the note duly addressed to A.but what if the post does not reach A?and missed during transit.whether the contract is complete or not?

Please inform what is the further steps in the section 34 proceedings.
