"Prohibition to register for two regular courses of study:
No student shall be allowed to simultaneously register for a law degree program with any other graduate or postgraduate or certificate course run by the same or any other University or an Institute for academic or professional learning; except in the integrated programme of the same institute.
However any short period part time certificate course in language, computer science or computer application, Diploma of an Institute, or any course run by a Centre for Distance Learning of a University however, shall be allowed.
Ref : (Rule 6, Rules of Legal Education 2008, Bar Council of India) "

Stipulations as to time (Sec 11)
Unless a different intention appears from the terms of the contract, stipulations as to time of payment are not
deemed to be of the essence of a contract of sale. Whether any other stipulation as to time is of the essence of
the contract or not depends on the terms of the contract.
I want to understand the meaning of the above statement

Possibility of doing 2 degrees simultaneously
I am currently doing MBA through distance education of a well known university. I am thinking about doing MSc in Mathematics because I like Mathematics very much.
I would like to know whether it is legally possible within India to do 2 such degrees simultaneously, that is, to do one course full-time and the other through distance learning
