I have taken the khatha certificate from bbmp which was in my mother's name. My mother died intestate in 1996. we are 6 children to my mother. we are selling the property now consisting of Land and building in Malleswaram Bangalore to mr. x . We have to make a joint khatha before selling the property. I approached BBMP they say 30 days time is required to transfer the khatha from my mother's name into joint names. As the sale has to be done urgently the purchaser is telling me to give all the documents copy to one person whom he know so that he can get it done quickly in joint names. Is there any risk in giving all the documents to that person even before the sale transaction has not yet started. Suppose Mr X gets joint khatha done and he keeps the original by force even before nothing has been done towards sale can he play with it .what is the risk involved. we do not know who this Mr X is ? kindly advice what we should do as Khatha is important document . Can he misuse it in any way.

My Grandma, Father, his brother and four of my aunts(sisters of my father) are legal heirs of a property my father expired and we the sons are facing serious financial problems due to his unexpected expiry ...... We including the other aunts are ready for disposal of the asset as they were in same need as we are..... my Grandma is 87 years even she was willing to dispose the asset and distribute their respective shares but now my uncle(father bother) has taken my grandma with him and he is some have playing a double game saying sometimes he will sell off the property and give out all their shares and sometimes not and sometime he is ready to buy that asset and settle by paying us.........this story was being played since my father was alive in 2006 he was paralysed in 2004 and expired in 2008 and till now nothing happened ............
This is the fact the property value is 2.04 crores are per municipal value its market value is 2.5-3 crores
Now my query is can i file a police complaint on him for all his mischieves in not selling the property do we have such a legal right and stance on our side my aunts will also support as they are also willing to take their respective shares in selling the asset
Can any one suggest me any better idea to solve this
My mom was also not feeeling well i need money for her medication and also to clear my debts i lost my father and dont want to loose anyone more from my family ....... I will get 2,50,00,000/9 = 27,00,000 as my share how to acquire this please guide me anyone ........
Thanks and Regards

Hello All,
I need help in a collateral security case.My father who is about 73 yrs old pledged his self acquired property as collateral security 15 years back to get a business loan for one of his friends in business who in turn promised to repay the loan to the bank and get the collateral security released. But unfortunately my father's friend due to losses in business could not continue to operate the business and ignored to even bother about my father's collateral security leaving it at risk. Now after several years in 2006 the bank approached my father and informed him that they were auctioning his property for failing to repay the loan.My father now had to take loans and repay this to save his property from auction.I need help in recovering this money from my father's friend who took loan from the bank by pledging my father's property as collateral security. What do I need to do?.Please advise we are in huge debts.
DEAR SIR,
A CHEQUE HAS BEEN ISSUED BY A UNREGISTERED PARTNERSHIP FIRM ON 21.5.2007, WHEREIN IT WAS REQUIRED BY THE PARTNERSHIP DEED THAT ANY CHEQUE FOR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED BY ALL THE PARTNERS. BUT IN THE PRESENT MATTER THE CHEQUE HAS BEEN BOUNCED WITH REMARKS "FUNDS INSUFFICIENT" AND THE CASE UNDER SECTION 138 NI ACT HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST ALL THE PARTNERS. FURTHER MORE A PARTNER HAS NOT SIGNED THE CHEQUE RATHER HE HAS BEEN RETIRED AND A NEW PARTNER HAS JOINED AT HIS PLACE VIDE NEW PARTNERSHIP DEED DATED 1.4.2008 DULY REGISTERED WITH REGISTRAR OF FIRMS.
CASE IS NOW AT THE STAGE FOR FRAMING OF CHARGE AGAINST THE SAID RETIRED PARTNER.
NOW PLEASE ADVISE ME WHAT IS THE LIABILITY OF THE PARTNER WHOSE SIGNATURE ARE NOT ON THE CHEQUE EVEN HE HAS BEEN RETIRED AND HAS BALANCE CAPITAL AS UNSECURED LOAN IN THE SAID FIRM.
