Ques: Whether the life insurance taken up by the company for the employee would be allowable expenditure for the compnay in relation to calculation of book profit and taxable income???
Respected sir,
my father died in road accident in the year 2005.so we got compensation via court.but my sister is minor she is only 13years old.so my sister share is deposited in the bank via court my sister amount is under the control of the court.
my question is,
1.whether she needs PANCARD and 15Gform for taxdeduction.or it is execption for tax deduction.
2.my sister amount is deposited in the bank with low interest rate7.5%.whether we have the rights to change the bank who give highrate of interest?
what is the procedure for changing the bank?how many days it takes place?

I am a CA with 6 yrs of experience in Indirect and Direct Taxation. I wish to pursue LLB as an additional degree.
I am a working person and will complete 30 in July 2011.
1. Am I eligible to pursue LLB considering my age?
2. From where can I pursue it considering I am a full time working professional.

Actually, we are facing an issue 'whether to deduct TDS or not on Eletricity cum DG set bills'.
The Fact is the lessor of the building is paying the electricity bills himself and then raising a debit note to us along with DG set charges in a composite bill.Should we deduct TDS on DG set charges?????
Kindly give ur opinion along with any Case Law supporting it or any reference along with it.

A land has been sold by Rs.34,00,000/- in cash but received Rs. only Rs. 17,00,0000/-. this land is ancestral but power of attorney has been taken from brother. this case is selected under the scheme of annual information return. first question is concealment of sale of land sale. what consequences in income tax will be arisen and capital gain will be arisen in hand.please reply of charge-ability of capital gain

Either Enforcement Directorate or
Income Tax Department or others?

As per Hindu Succession Act 2005 can a daughter exercise her rights on the Self Acquired Property of Father.Or it is the sole right of the son.If the reply is affirmative,under which section of the said Act.Pl guide.
