Ancestral property defined in law

Sir

Ancestral property in internet is "property which has remained unpartioned in the family for 4 generation or others

Kindly educate us where in law book/Act the definition of ancestral property is defined.

The Inheritance Property Act and Hindu Succession Act are most important.And also Nature of Parent Title (freehold or other) and Family Genealogy tree be declared.If you want regularize up to date marketable title,you should do some register documentations and application to the Local Government Authority.
