About land

hello,everbody
one of my friend 'case related to land pending in a court since last 20 yr only dates are given by court.land is on their name.....no result still given....now she wants to sell that property.......can she sell property with leave court and how.....plzzzz help me,,,,i will be thankful

If the case regarding dispute of ownership or claim of right, the property cannot be sold until the case decided.

no, she cannot sell property.

If no stay exist she can sell, verdict / outcome of the case would be binding on all parties.

Even if there is no stay what was your friend doing all these 20 years, the property could have been sold long back, but why they did not take that decision, just because of he pending litigation. Now on selling the property at this juncture will raise the eye brows of court and can be caught on the wrong foot, so better not to do such gimmicks now at this fag end stage.
