about donation in std 8 and in std 10th

Sir my child had passed 10 th examination from gujarat state. now he wish to admission in mother school where he studied 10 th standard. mother school order each student to bring 2000?donate and 360 rs for fees.the school is fully granted by government. my child has pay this amount. can any school forced any child for donation like this? what the rule says?please.

File a complaint before, education dept, Lokayukta and nearest police station.

I am supporting the suggestion given by Sanjeevji.Confirm with the school the purpose of the money .Some times aided school collect lump sum amount for books and uniform and as yearly fees.

the school had been forced all student for compulsary donate 2000/- rs for school admission other wise not get the admission
