What is the validity period of searching report for creating equitable mortgage?

Sorry Sir. Here is the fact. My brother applied for a Housing loan and as per instruction of the bank the property has been searched by a lawyer on a date. In the mean time the manager has transferred. Now the bank again asked for searching of land property as the date of existing searching has become three month ten days old.
