what can parent legally do if a 23 yr daughter beat the mother often and provoke to commit suicide.

File a complaint in the police station or the mother can also file for protection order against the daughter under the domestic violence act.

protection order or police complaint will throw her out of our home? and how will police complaint will exatly help.we will get protection order from police?

Though you cannot throw her out of the house if she has no other place to live and cannot afford seperate living on her own, it is better to obtain protection order from the court under the dv act. If she commits breach of PO then, it is a punishable offence. Also the mother can approach protection officer of the area.

the only succour to the mother against the physical violence and toruture by the daugher can be provided under the provisions of the dv act. whereupon the police will be instructed to provide protection officer to the mother by the court to prevent any violence. breach of the same would be an offence
