Tax on partion of property-tamilnadu

Earlier the stamp duty or tax for the partition deal was Rs 10,000/- irrespective of the value of the property if it is with in the blood relation. prior to this it was nil . what is the latest ruling
Whether A partition deal which was drafted during 1996 and enjoyed by the individuals till date has to be redone after probation when the conditions in the will is not altered
what does the law says. in the case of Tamilnadu pl guide

I think you are referring to Stamp Duty and not to Tax.
