there is no such book , covering all topics of criminal trials.
but, you can, use the book " THE MAJOR ACTS " which contains 3 major acts such as IPC, CRPC, EVIDENCE ACT, which are the backbones of criminal trial.
but, remember, it is not possible to read and understand very easily to a person without legal back ground.ok
