Since the value of the immovable property purchased by you is more than Rs.100/-, it is compulsorily required to be registered. The Registrar will not register the document for which full stamp duty has not been paid. Therefore, approach the Sub-Registrar's office, find out the stamp duty applicable, and make good the stamp duty and then submit the document for registration. Without registration, the document has no value at all.
