hello. . .

The lift in my societys building is giving problems from a long time now. But today I was personally affected as my 8 year old sister got stuck in the lift. I want to know whether there is any action which I can take against the society for this. We pay the maintainance regularly.

Yes, But first you need to find out that who is at the actual fault, as it can be the contractor who has taken up the contract of anual maintenance of lifts of your society.
