Can hsg society(mumbai) issue a share certificate to a member for a garage, Who has purchase Documets for flat but not having any documet to prove that he has purchased the garage from whomso ever?

Normally such share certificate cannot be given but please check with local advocate who is having more acquaintance with local laws.

Share Certificate is an acknowledgment of purchasing a share in the Society, which is neither for flat nor garage.
No separate certificate can be given by managing committee for garage, which is attached with flat.
It is advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer with relevant records for better appreciation of facts, professional advise and necessary proceeding, if you feel so.

If the society has issued the share certificate to the garage separately without verifying the registered sale deed for the purchase of garage then it can be said to be illegal and invalid.
