Dear Experts,
My brothers soninlaw is accused in a case at Vijaywada,4 to 5 non bailable warrant was issued in his favor under cheating case, he has borrowed huge amounts from local pupils and absconded. Three months back all of sudden he came to Hyderabad and asked to financial help, as he was hunting job.I have helped him 1000-00 he stayed for 3 days in a hostel and again he asked me money, I refused and took his mobile phone, it was samsung, I was using the mobile for the past three months, with the help of EM number the vijawada police reached me and asked me to start vijaywada with them for enquiry,and recording my statement.They are suspecting me that I have hided him,In fact I dont know where abouts he,
I requested them since no warrant was issued in my favor, I will come after 3,4 days.Is it safe if I visit vijaywada without taking any precautions.What sort of precautions I have to take.just using his mobile I have not done any crime.Please help me by advising me If I go for anticipatory bail before visiting Vijawada, or shall I surrender in the court.They may make to stay in their custody for 2 to 3 days and harass me for tracing my brothers son in law.

cops will record your statement . if you have done nothing wrong you should not worry. there is no cheating case filed against you . you have merely taken the samsung phone as your brother in law was unable to repay your loan . apply for AB if you so desire

When you apply for AB the police will commit in court that there is no case against you if you were genuinely not involved and AB would be dismissed.So you could be comfortable during any police enquiry regarding the same.Otherwise AB would protect you.

Dear Experts,
I express my sincere thanks for your valuable advice.
Now my question is will the honorable court
will grant me AB,without any FIR in my favor.During the visit of VJW police I have given in writing that I will be visiting Vijaywada within 10days for their enquiry. I have only case number filed by Vijaywada 2 town PS in favor of Praveen is with me,on what basis the Court will grant me AB.I have and will attend Vijaywada 2 town PS, before attending I need to apply for AB at Vijaywada court, or can I apply AB in Hyderabad court.

you have to apply in vijawada court . obtain copies of case papers . engage a local lawyer in vijaywda .

Transit Bail could be obtained in Hyd and to be confirmed in VJW court

Dear Experts,
I am planning to avail the case papers through local advocate, based on case the 2 town PS of vijaywada may prey for my custody which may given, at that time the AB will help me.After filing how many days it will take time to get AB.

Dear Experts,
My sincere thanks for your valued responses fro my query. Finally I have decided to get the case details from the honorable court, if found my name is included I shall go for AB.Other wise I will appoint a local advocate and visit 2 town PS for enquiry along with him.Frankly I am speaking that I am not a advocate nor I am testing knowledge of any expert. Just seeking advice from the experts to act accordingly.

Mr,Rao in your profile you had clearly mentioned as Law Graduate and also you had said you do mediation and all that for others.Then who are you please.Also you have mentioned you involve in Recovery of bad debts,sorting out property and family disputes etc and suddenly you are posing your self as accused.
