Revenue officer has sent my client company demand notice to pay revenue assessment. In my view the assessment made by authorities is wrong, illegal and arbitrary. Now whether I should file suit for declaration that the demand notice is wrong and illegal and injunction not to act upon the notice or should I file appeal before Dy. Collector (as the notice is sent by Tahsildar)?

Hi,
you can file objections to tahsildar and if not satisfied by his order can file an appeal against his order or can choose a civil remedy by giving notice u/s 80 of CPC
