Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 16 September 2010 This query is : Resolved
If i send certified copies of my petition refuting my wife's charges on me or my explainations for the false cases filed by her on me,including her petitions or documents of course certified one's to her office- will i be liable for any legal action? in terms of defamation or anything else?
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 16 September 2010
Yes , if anything stated in those petitions are sufficient to belittle her image before the public or in their estimation then your acts will be liable for defamation. Refrain from indulging in those practices and fight a fair battle.

I mean to say if legally procured certified copies from court copy section are sent to her office, even then will it be a legal defamation? These documents may give an insight on the falsity of the devious woman. isn't it?
s.subramanian (Expert) 18 September 2010
No it will not amount to defamation at all.
