which type of power of attorney is required

There are difference formats of Power of Attorney. Even engaging a Lawyer also require giving Vakalatnama (Power of Attorney)

One format for an Individual could be as under;

TO WHOM SO EVER IT MAY CONCERN

This is to state that the undersigned for the practical reasons is pleased to appoint Mr. _____________ s/o ______________ r/o __________________ as mylawful attorney for initiating, prosecuting and getting adjudicated any case including but not limited to civil, criminal, consumer, tax, arbitration cases, labour matter, for engaging lawyer, signing pleadings, deposing in the matter or doing any other act as may be required for in the appropriate court of law in furtherance of this Power of Attorney.

Mr.Chetan,

In case a corporate entity has to file any case the same has to be filed by the Resolution of the Board of Director and preferably through principle officers i.e. Managing Director/Company secretary.
