Possession -how to proof

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 18 October 2022 This query is : Resolved
I am in possession of a house purchased by me in another name. I am residing in that property. The another person wants to sale the house.
1) How to proof the house is under my possession ?
2) Can I go to civil court & pray injunction for the house ?
Quick Summary
If you're occupying a house purchased in another person's name, proving your possession is key. You may be able to file a civil court injunction or a declaration suit. However, if the property is legally registered under someone else's name, your claim based solely on possession might be limited. Consulting a local lawyer is highly recommended to understand your specific rights and legal options.

File a declaration suit against him. Consult a local lawyer.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 19 October 2022
Another person is registered owner of house so you can't claim any right in property on basis of possession.
