One time compensation

Can anybody please tell me how much compensation can be asked as one time alimony for a wife and one year male kid(married 2 years ago) from a husband earning Rs.65000 per month and wife not working.

you can ask for the moon but court has to grant it . number of factor are considered by court while determining maintenance . income of husband , whether he has dependent parents , whether wife working or not ., husband assets etc

my salary is 65k permonth and my parents are not dependant on me. wife is well qualified but not working till now. I own a house worth 40lakhs. how much can my wife ask as one time payment for my One year old kid and my wife. just need an idea.

depends upon the advice given by her lawyer . she may demand ay amount but it should be in your capacirty to make payment . she may demand rs 20 to 25 lakhs

As stated my Mr. Sethi, a number of factors are considered by the court, a very important one of which is the standard of living that she enjoyed while she was staying with you in the matrimonial home.
