native property

Dear Sir,
We have a land(~3acres) that belongs to my grandfathers father,now my granfather(only son for his father) was no more and he has two children(i.e) my father and anti.My father has two children(me and my sister).Now we propose to sell the land but my anti asking us for 50%(inspite we done a lot to her family in terms of religious complements).My anti got married before 1987.And my grand mother is still alive.Please let me know about HOW MUCH IS MY ANTI'S ACTUAL SHARE accorting to current law.Also tell me about the latest bill in parliment which suppose to give equal property rights to women.

How many children your Aunt having?

When Grand father died?

Could you be more specific as to which caste you belong to and whether the said property is ancestral or hereditary. Has your grandfather made any will? What is your say of your grandmother.As mentioned in your query we have done alot for your aunt's family, please be more specific, is there any documentation to that effect?

All three will get equal share i.e your grand mother, father and your aunti, All three will get 1 acre each

Hey in absence of Will, all grand children can have equal right over the property, since it as still, ancestral property

According to the Hindu Law the three will get equal share ie,grandmother,your father and your aunt.
