it is necessary to take car insurance covering drivers risk.? when independent driver is employed for driving.? what difference does it make when the owner of car, is himself a driver.? It is mandatory for him to take car insurance covering drivers risk? what is the trend of courts in this regard.? has there been any demarcation.? please answer. A Few judgements would be of great help.

the driver died of an accident insurance policy expired, my point is additional premium has to paid for covering drivers risk, is insurance company liable? question was in that context.
