Guidance on solicitor career

I have completed my 3 year BLS LLB. I'm planning to pursue solicitor as my career and in search of solicitor internship currently.I wanted to know about the working of the solicitor and also the future scope of it in India as well as outside India. I will be grateful if you could help me with any of the solicitor firm or solicitor you know in person or got any reference as I want to join immediately. I have a good academic as well as moot court experience and other co-curricular activities. I'm keen to learn and looking for experience. Awaiting for your valuable response.

As far as i know career as a solicitor is not the same say as in uk.Here a solicitor means practicing in chambers of a senior advocate pl consult your local bar council for guidance and/or placement

in Mumbai we have number of solicitor firms . you have approach any of the firms sign your articleship and then after 2 years give solicitor exams .

yes, I had approached few firms but mostly the response was that there is no vacancy currently. as I had already completed my 3 yr bls llb I wanna immediately join the articleship so can you advice any of the firms specifically where i can get the articleship to join
