where two GPA holders are appointed by a single instrument, whether one of them can appoint the other as his lawful attorney in view of the maxim "delegatus non potest delegare" vide a separate instrument of GPA? thanking you in advance for your response.

No, powers which were delegated cannot be further delegated.

if there is a clause regarding power to sub-deligation, then the GPA holder can sub-deligate his powers

Unless contrary authorised in the Power of Attorney, G.P.A. holder cannot further delegate his power to any other person either to the co-G.P.A. or others.
