CASE IS PENDING SINCE 1994.THERE IS NO DISPOSAL TILL TODATE. ACCUSED IS 76 YEARS OLD AND CAN PLEADS GUILTY FOR SUPERVISORY NEGLIGENCE ONLY.SHOULD HE GO FOR PLEA BARGAIN. PROS AND CONS OF PLEA BARGAIN MAY BE APPRISED.

I think it is better to file a petition in High Court u/s 482 Cr.P.C. for speedy disposal of the matter.

Can apply to Court for early / daily hearing on the basis of being senior citizen.

Yes in the context of the decision of the supreme court you could press for speedy disposal of file pettion u/s 482 crpc whereby the high court could pass such direction. If the accused has undergone more than half of the sentence prescribed for such offence then the high court may quash the proceeding too.
