False certificates.

Respected Sir/Madam,
I am a Govt. Servant, my annual income is 5 lakhs.
1.But my wife obtained an Income Certificate(Without my knowledge) from Tahsildar which states that our annual Income is Rs.10500/- only. By using this income Certificate she obtained several Govt. benefits which reserved for BPL people.
2.My wife is physically Fit and she has no disabilities. But she obtained an Physically Handicap Certificate from Govt.Doctors which states that she is limping and she has 60% disability.
3.My in-laws are in Govt.Service.But my wife obtained an Income Certificate(before her marraige) from Tahsildar which states that their (in-laws) annual Income is Rs.7500/- only. By using this income Certificate she obatained several Govt. benefits which reserved for BPL people.
When I came know all these I collected all the documents through RTI and gave 3 seperate complaints to Concerned to take criminal action against my wife and in-laws. In written reply to my complaints they told that this is not an criminal offence and they can't take any action.
Is it criminal offence or not, if yes please mention the IPC sections,

It comes under cheating with fabricate documents for wrongful gains. If the lower authority is not contemplating any action on your complaint, you may escalate the issue to the higher authorities communicating them about the said irregularities by enclosing proper documentary proofs. By the way why are you so much bent upon to initiate action against your wife, is it due to her false matrimonial disputes against you?

Respected T.Kalaiselvan Sir,
After coming to know that, these unlawful activities(false documnets like income ceritificates, Physicially handicapped certificate etc.,) are done by my wife colluding with her parents, I am being an Govt.Servant immediately started questioning about her illegal acts, she tried to commit suicide by hanging herself.
I immediately with the help of neighbors broke open the door and rescued my wife and admitted her to Hospital. I borne all the expenses to the tune of Rs.5 lakhs.
But hiding all these facts my in-laws filed a 498(A),307 IPC case and DV Act case.(Both are under court trial)
It is very imporatant to prove that my wife attempted to commit suicide due to the unlawful activities(false documnets like income ceritificates, Physicially handicapped certificate etc.,) came to the knowledge of the husband.
Hence I am so much bent upon to initiate action against my wife.

consult a good lawyer showing him/her the documents with you. Even applying for such false certificates is an offence under penal code. And the courts take very serious view in such cases. Better settle with wife and in laws showing them the mirror.If your statements are true, then they must settle out of court.
