Sir, Its a humble request to you that please advice me. Details are as below- Sir my family is staying at Rudrapur, Uttarakhand because my father is working here. I am working at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and living alone there. My marriage took place on 13/02/11 at Kannauj,Uttar Pradesh. My wife belongs to Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh. On 15/02/11 we came to Rudrapur Uttarakhand for marriage ceremony. On 17/02/11 my wife went back to her parents house. After some time she came back to me at Kanpur (because i was working there.) On 17/09/11 she made an FIR at Mahila Thana, Kasganj under sections- 498a,313,323,504,506 and DPA 3/4 against my whole family (6 members). On 02/10/11 she took it back by giving an signed AFFIDAVIT to the police. Police submitted FR & XPUNZ report to the ACJM Kasganj on 07/11/11. Court issued summons to her but she never attend the court. After 3 years, on 16/05/14, she re opened her case at ACJM Kasganj.Judge recorded hers and 2 PWs statements under crpc 200 & 202. She gave a statement in court- "MY HUSBAND AND MY MOTHER IN LAW USED TO DEMAND 5 LACS OR A CAR. BOTH TORTURED ME PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY." These 2 PWs not her relatives and residing at a long distance from hers house. Judge opened the case under 498a & DPA 3/4 against me and my mother only. Removes all other names and sections. I filed criminal revision at Session Court.Now some points are- 1) As court issued summons to her as soon as FR & XPUNZ report received, but she neither received summons nor attend the court, while she was working in the same city. If she had problem with police report she had to approach to ACJM immediately. 2) As she is staying with her parents and working there, why did she not approach the court as police submitted FR & XPUNZ report to the ACJM court. 3) As in her statement recorded at ACJM she made a general allegation of demanding dowry. She did not made any specific allegation against us Like- i) Exact date and time,When we both demanded to her? ii) Exact date and time,What we tortured to her? 4) As hers parents did not become PWs. These 2 persons who are PWs are not relatives to her and staying very far away from hers city. If we demanded dowry why hers parents did not become PWs? 5) As she was living with me in Uttar Pradesh and my parents were living at Uttarakhand. How can my mother tortured to her? as Supreme court told that those relatives of husband can not be accused living at another states or a long distance away. Sir these are points that comes in my mind. What is the probability of success of mine in this case?

Help me please. i am in trouble. i need a advice. i dont have too much money to spend in court.. Actually we have shifted to a new rental house in chennai. At the beginning they said us to pay 30000rs as advance(security deposit) and 5000rs as rent per month. So that they have prepared a document like that for 11months. After 14months they are asking us to pay 500rs extra per month. We agreed for that.. But problem is that we cant pay that extra money due to some finanical so planned to shift from that house. So that we informed him, as we are vacating our house by this month end so kindly return back our advance. But he is saying that i wont give ur money. You people cheated us, i thought u will be there for more than 2years so that only i gave my house for 5000rs, if not so 6000rs only. So u peoples have give that remaining money for that 14months i.e 14000rs. He is saying that i will take that money from your security deposit. This is really hurting us, we are not so wealthy. We cant even pay 500rs extra per month so only we planned to vacate but now they are cheating us! Please clear me what to do?

Dear Sir, I won one title civil case in Howrah Civil Court. Now other party has raised appeal. And its showing as under Act 'All-India Institute of Medical Sciences Act" Under section 1. Can you please help me to understand the meaning of this. Also Purpose of Hearing is mentioned as "S / R & AD" what this means ? Please help me. Regards, Partha

Respected sir/madam, I am a student ,my passport expired 6 years ago and it was issu when i was 2 years of age.I had a different date of birth in my school as i was born in the month of JUNE 98 and now i have passed my class 10.My board certificate has dob 28 mar 98.Now i want to reissue my passport with the dob of my board certificate.Some of agents have told to file a civil suit in this case which will take time and some have told that u only need the dob certificate for which you want to reissue your passport.I do have both the birth certificates.Now im quite unsurd what to do,do i file a case or just go to the passport office with my birth certificate of the dob which is in my board certificate.i have to get my passportas soon as possible as my SISTERS marraige is next month.Plz guide me what to do and if i file a civil suit regarding this matter how much time it would take.May god bless and fill your life with abundant happiness to help me,and plz if any lawyer coluld help me in this case.Im from AGRA. Hello, I am working in a company from last 1 year. I got another good opportunity which I accepted. With my previous company there is an agreement reagarding minimum years to serve.Since I am leaving my company, I am ready to fulfill that agreement. I need to pay certain amount as compensation. Now there is no mention of notice period on any of my documents such as joining letter or appointment letter. When I talked to my HR, HR was saying that I need to serve a notice period of 3 months and at the same time they were telling me to stay back saying that they will not accept the compensation. It was told to me that If I leave, then they will not provide relieving letter as well as experience letter. They were saying that we do not mention notice period on offer letter,its present on HR web portal.But my point is, notice period must be mentioned on joining letter/offer letter since they can modify the notice period on their HR portal anytime. In the end, I have submitted my resignation and now waiting for the meeting again. From my side I am ready to pay compensation. Please let me know how to tackle this situation.
