in the month of february'2011 a tata sumo fell into a Gorge an seven passenger died on the spot. now i wanted to know from the experts was that:
1. what documents i need to attached with the application petition to get compensation under sec 140 under motor vehicle act.

2. do it need to file through proper format petition

3. do it comes under limitation to file for compentation.
please suggest

you first get fir copy and injury and fatel certificate then file MACT.

1. You have to file your petition along with necessary documents. i.e; f.i.r, accident report, wound certificates for injured persons, post mortam certificate for deceased person.. Original medical bills if any, any relevant documents for prove the income of injured or deceased persons, etc..

2. Yes its have to file with proper format. You may appoint any specilist advocate in motor claim cases.

3. No limitation for filing motor accident claim compensation. Also no territorial jurisdiction for filing this claim..
