VRS and pension

An employee opts for VRS after serving the company for more than 25 years.
He receives Rs.2,00,000 as voluntary retirement compensation.
Is he eligible to receive pension after opting for VRS

It will depend on the VRS Scheme.

No.Various case law is against that emplyee for claiming pension.

In case VRS Schme debar an employee from claiming pension only in that particular circumstances, he can not claim pension otherwise he claim claim.
