WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY NOTICE OF PAY. IF AN EMPLOYEE GIVES ONE MONTH NOTICE, IS IT MANDATORY FOR HIM TO COME TO THE OFFICE EVERYDAY? IF HE COMES TO THE OFFICE AND DOES DAILY WORK/HANDING OVER WORK, WHETHER HE SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL ALLOWANCES INCLUDING BASIC PAY AND DA. CAN YOU DEDUCT PF FROM NOTICE OF PAY AMOUNT. KINDLY CLARIFY WITH DETAILS

The employee is in regular service during the period of notice and entitiled to all earnings wages/allowances etc. Having given a notice means that the employee has fulfilled the requirement before leaving the job as enunciated in his appointment letter. He is entitiled to PF/Gratuity and all beniftis during this period.

Yes, Harbhajan has rightly clarified your doubt. The purpose for the notice period is to enable the employer to find a suitable replacement to mange the work.
