audio/video recording as an evidence

what is the ststus of a video/voice recording (in which no third person/witness is present but conversation of only family members of both parties recorded) as an evidence or as proof of an oral agreement. Is it a legaly acceptable evidence in a court.

any audio/video proof is valid one as per evidence amendment act , you produced before the court.

It is certainly admissible in evidence. However, it has to be proved. The person who has recorded has to be examined. he should identify the voices. A transcript has to be provided to the other side
