old law of property registration

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 14 June 2011 This query is : Resolved 
was there any law for the registration of property before 1974 that if value of property is less than 100/- then this need not to be registered like a sale deed.OR IF THE VALUE OF STAMP PAPER IS LESS THAN 100/- THEN IT NEED NOT TO BE REGISTERED.

PLEASE GIVE ME ADVISE.

In Indian registration act ,1908 already specified.Just read it.

Sec. 17 of the Registration Act exempted registration of deeds pertaining to immovable property worth below Rs. 100/-
