Please provide the latest judgemets defining a co operative society as a consumer. Banking services of providing loan is a service under CP Act. A co-op society takes loan under Margin Money Scheme of KVIC and the installs machines from that loan to train unskilled workers to skill workers and make them self employed as written in the MOU of the Cooperative society. whether the purpose of the society is a commercial purpose.please provide case law.
