(Querist) 08 December 2013 This query is : Resolved
OP has not been appearing and so it has been decided to proceed against him ex parte. Ex parte arguments were made by me during hearing yesterday, the 7th instant and PO ordered the case to be put up for judgment on 10th instant. Am I supposed to be present on that day. I am currently out of station.

If you are a party to the proceedings that too it is a civil nature of dispute, no need to attend the court, If your advocate's presents, no problem.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 10 December 2013
Mostly the orders are pronounced in the late evening, .e., the orders are written on the notes paper instead of actually pronouncing the same in the open court, especially this happens in the civil cases, the party can verify the same from the court diary on that evening or the next day. So party's presence is not required on such occasions.
