Entitlement of salary

Sir if person get approval for government job and if he has worked for certain period of time then is he entitled for salary...??? Provide me proper acts and case laws

Of course the employee is entitled for salary for the period of service.
However, what is the relevance of stating, inter alia, that, "..if person gets approval of government job.."??
