Delayed handingover the house we purchased

sirs,
i purchased a house in a township and according to agreement signed, it has to be registered in my name last nov 2011.they havent given it to me till now and there is no proper response from them.they are delaying telling it will be done in 2 months or one week and so on from then.i had applied loan for that house and am paying emi everymonth.doesnt bank have the responsibility to get the registration done since they approved the township and loan and are also charging emi.
how should i take proper action on management of the township and what is the method please explain.

dear pratyu, u ought to be the owner of the property and not the bank which has facilitated u to buy the property. send a legal notice to the builder for delay in handing over the possession of the house and seek compensation.

You may seek your remedies moving to consumer forum after serving a notice to defaulter builder.

It would be in your interest to discuss the matter with a local competent lawyer to proceed properly.
