Declaration of holiday on polling day?

Hi,

Is it necessary to declare polling day as a holiday. We are a private limited company. Pls advise.

Yes. You have to grant a holiday on the day of polling. Section 135 B of The Representation of the People Act provides for it.

Holiday is mandatory because to select the politicians to lead our nation, who will not do anything to our country, but they do everything for their own.
