changing name in khas and jote land

Hi ..! I would like to know what should be done in order to change from a father's name to a son in a case of intestate in a khas and jote land since my father left without a will....! Thankyou !

You can apply for transfer of name in the revenue records with the Revenue department based on the legal heirship certificate of the deceased.
