Respected Sir/Madam,
Just wanted to know, if someone complain or register false labour case against a Farmer? Here my father, he is a farmer Age 70. We have few agricultural land and all are given in lease for last 15 years. Living along in village and my mother. Some who never worked as labour registered a case against my father saying he has not given Rs 70000 for his work. Just to take benefit of labour law. He has been asked to do so by someone in our village. My father received a notice that says to appear in forum, if not case registered against him will be treated as final. Inspite of age issue he appeared after notice. The officer also saying this is a false and fake case. But we are worried, what need to be done here. :(
Please guide and help me how to come out of it.

Sir I have not got any increment in salary since I joined the job since last 2 years 6 months. During my appointment 3 months notice period was mentioned, can leave job without notice, as company has not done minimum increment.

Please advise can we change the notice period with formal letter. because our original term is one month notice and we want that to read as two month notice or three month. However in our original employment letter there is no clause for "any change in terms and conditions communicated by company shall be applicable and acceptable to you."
Because I feel without above clause in original contract one cannot change the notice period or other terms

I'm working in govt of tamilnadu , I got transferred three months back.. My previous office is not forwarding my service record and the last pay certificate to the new place of work . It was more than 70 days as of today .. I'm not able to get salary till now due to last pay certificate LPC not received in new office ..inspire of repeated reminders my old office superintendent is not forwarding it and replying in indecent manner .. What should I do next ..? Can I file a complaint against him.? Can a govt servant be denied salary for no reason like this ..? Plz guide me , I'm ready to fight for my rights

1. How much compensation is an employer liable to pay to an employee during a lock out?
2. Section 25C of the Industrial Dispute Act says that if during any period of 12 months, a workman is laid off for more than 45 days he is not entitled to lay off compensation after the said period.
In this case, should the lay off be for a continuous period of 45 days or an workman can be laid off on different occasions and that should add up to 45 days?

I am working in Polytechnic College Jabalpur at the post of Lab.Technician. I had Joined on this post in Oct. 92 as adhoc basis(every six months 3 days break). I got regularisation order with notional fixation in Dec.2004 after decision of high court Jbp. pls read my attached application and give a guidance which is helpful for my future. notional fixation means adding all increments till 1992 but not gave any arrears of that period (12 years in my case)
